Lace bolero jacket with lace dress - tacky?
Everyone out there with a great eye for fashion and detail, I need your help please!
I am wearing a strapless satin bronze dress with a gorgeous detailed lace overlay to a wedding (as a guest) and will need to buy a bolero jacket to cover up at the church. My accent color is light gold/champagne, so the shoes, evening bag and bolero will be that color. My question is, should I go with a champagne lace bolero jacket or a satin one? I am thinking the lace one would be overkill (tacky even) and would take away from the gorgeous lace detail of the dress. If it matters, I'm in my twenties so I don't want to look too old-fashioned either

I would say that if you can get the lace bolero in the same shade and same style of lace as the lace on your dress you could get away with it as it will look like part of the dress. If you can't get the same shade I think it would look too much and you should opt for the satin one. It sounds nice anyway, have fun (:
